“Crafty” DfT tactics could prompt more strikes, as staff fear it could try to sneak in national T&Cs

RMT members have contacted Chime Whistle Publishing to say that nearly all train operators have scheduled talks with the RMT for 13 March. One member said: “My suspicions mind says that every RMT rep will get exactly the same document presented to them. National T&C’s by the back door.” Described as a “crafty” tactic, another RMT member said: “I think there could be a ballot at the end of March or in early April if they try this.”
